Hello Guys, in this post, I am going to tell you about how to prepare for Air Force Agniveer examinations.

Agniveer scheme comes under Agnipath scheme of government. By which candidates are enrolled in Indian Air Force. Initially candidates are enrolled for 4 years. After 4 years of service, 25% of the selected and trained Agniveers continue service and 75% are given discharge with benefits.

Selection Procedure of Agniveer

The selection procedure for Agniveer in the Indian Air Force includes the following stages:

  1. Online Registration – Candidates need to apply online through the official IAF website.
  2. Online Exam (Phase I) – A computer-based test covering subjects like English, Mathematics, Physics, and Reasoning.
  3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) (Phase II) – Includes running, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
  4. Adaptability Tests (I & II) – Tests problem-solving skills and adaptability to military life.
  5. Medical Examination – A comprehensive medical checkup as per IAF standards.
  6. Final Merit List – Based on overall performance in the selection process.

Study Material For Air Force

To pass the written examination, candidates needs better preparation. For technical group, candidates needs to focus on following subjects:

  • Math (15 marks)
  • Physics (15 marks)
  • English (20 marks)

The type of questions is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Each question consists of 4 options out of which one option is correct. The level of questions is intermediate level. If you are good in above subjects in your intermediate level, you can easily pass this exam.

Current Affairs Plays a vital role in english portion. 2 to 3 questions are asked from current affairs.

For Non-technical Group, you should focus on below subjects:

  • Reasoning and General Awareness (30 marks)
  • English (20 marks)

English subject is almost common for both groups. If you fail in any of the subjects, you are failed. Passing Marks is 50%.
